The Lord Jesus Christ has finished the work needed to reconcile us to God and to atone for our sins. Once He ascended to Heaven, He did what no other high priest had ever done under the Old Covenant: He sat down; He rested from His labors on our behalf. But He did more: He raised us up together with Him and seated us at the Right Hand of the Father so that we could enter HIS rest, even right now while we are on the earth! After the Father draws us to the Son unto salvation (John 6:44), The Son draws us to Himself, calling us into the most amazing and intimate relationship that our hearts could ever hope for.
