Our Library Friends and Historical Society hosted Luca's program "Heroes & Headaches: New England's History of Piracy At Home & Abroad" on Sunday, April 14th. This was a great, high-energy program with a lot of interactive elements that kept the audience engaged and entertained. Our Historical Society is a tough audience - you must know your stuff! - and they were very pleased. There were plenty of questions and lively discussion afterwards. We had Luca come out to run his children's program for Take Your Child to the Library day, which we called Pirate for a Day, and he was fantastic to work with! He always responded incredibly quickly to emails and/or phone calls, showed up early to make sure that he was prepared for the program, and made sure our attendees had a fabulous time. Families were giving him rave reviews on their way out and we are already looking forward to asking him back in the future!| Connecticut Library Consortium Program Directory
What a great pirate program for adults. Luca was well prepared, funny, and enthusiastic about his subject. I even got him to dress as a pirate! Will definitely have him back for a children's program. Had 40 attendees and received many positive compliments from the audience.| Connecticut Library Consortium Program Directory
Luca presented an informative and interactive program about the history of pirates in New England. He brought props and had gold coins to give away. This is not another boring Powerpoint presentation. We had a great turnout for a cold, dark January night. He's happy to travel from RI to CT. We're having him back in the future for his children's program. He's absolutely wonderful to work with.| Connecticut Library Consortium Program Directory
Luca was fantastic! We booked him for an adult lecture on New England Pirates that was a huge success. We had roughly 70 people attend, and received very positive feedback. Luca came prepared with relevant props, a flag, and books to put on display for the audience. He was very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended!| Connecticut Library Consortium Program Directory
