The first of 2,000 National Guard troops ordered by President Trump arrived in Los Angeles to quell clashes between protesters and immigration officers. In a memo, Trump said the demonstrations “constitute a form of rebellion." On social media, Gov. Newsom said the guard’s presence would “escalate tensions." Democratic Rep.
