My de-cluttering project has slowed. There are too many books, photo frames, and other objects that have “sentimental” value to my wife that it’s make the process slow. We talked about moving things to storage but I can already see that this stuff will sit there in storage for years before it ever gets touched again and it makes me think it’s a waste. | Get Rich Slick!

I wrote about canceling subscriptions in my post “How To Prepare For A Recession” back in 2024 and this year, as I expected, got laid off. I re-examined my subscriptions to make sure I’m not wasting any money. I recently canceled my Apple TV+ subscription since the shows I liked I already watched and the new seasons won’t be fully out for a while.| Get Rich Slick!
Now that I’m unemployed, I signed up for unemployment benefits and it’s an interesting experience. First, there are many hoops to jump through to get started but after going through the gauntlet I finally got my benefit statement.
