The ITUC condemns the arrest of Grygorii Osovyi, President of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine, ITUC Vice-President and General Council member, as attacks on the country's trade union movement escalate. The detention is part of attempts to undermine the trade union movement ahead of a critical parliamentary vote on a draft law that threatens to seize trade union premises, including Trade Union House in Kyiv, and undermine fundamental labour rights.
