What is a Branch? A branch is an alternative version of some software, in this case of the Kali OS. Kali Linux has multiple branches which allows for users to decide how up-to-date their packages will be. This change will be part of the 2020.1 release, currently scheduled for late January. However, you will notice this change in the weekly images starting now.| Kali Linux
Now that our 2019.2 release is out, we thought we would take this opportunity to cover some of the changes and new features we have coming to Kali Linux in the following year.
