I found Luca's passion for the history of pirates to be incredibly interesting. He engaged with the audience throughout the entirety of the program and kept everyone's attention with how he delivered the facts and his clear expertise. Our Library Friends and Historical Society hosted Luca's program "Heroes & Headaches: New England's History of Piracy At Home & Abroad" on Sunday, April 14th. We had Luca come out to run his children's program for Take Your Child to the Library day, which we called Pirate for a Day, and he was fantastic to work with!
