General Synod voted June 29 to put a dollar limit on the amount of money officers of General Synod can spend on church business without approval from CoGS or General Synod itself. The resolution requires them to ask permission from CoGS or from General Synod before making any financial commitment for the church above a limit to be set by CoGS itself.
