Thirteen years ago, two dedicated educators, Anthony Villasenor and Dr. Wendy Ranck-Buhr, teamed up to write a charter petition to open a second location for the San Diego Cooperative Charter School (SDCCS) organization. They believed that all students, regardless of their zip code, deserved access to progressive, child-centered, and hands-on learning opportunities.
