NBC Connecticut Investigates learned Tuesday that Jacqueline “Mimi” Torres-Garcia was withdrawn from the New Britain School District last fall. The remains of Torres-Garcia, 12, were found in a bin in New Britain last week. Her mother, and the mother’s boyfriend are facing multiple charges, including murder.
