The December full moon – called the Cold Moon – will light up the night sky on December 14 and 15, 2024. Since the full moon will crest at 9:02 UTC on December 15, the moon will look full on two evenings – December 14 and 15 – for the Americas and western Europe. This full moon will lie close to blazingly bright Jupiter on these nights.
