I used iA Writer for the very first time on December 19, 2013. I know this because that’s the datestamp of the document that sits at the bottom of my iA Writer file list. In the years since, I’ve used the app to write almost everything, across three years of university studies, three different employments, […]| Anders Norén
At the dawn of the industry, we needed big companies to deliver quality software. You’d buy version 1.0 because the way it worked was revolutionary, and it let you do amazing new things. You’d buy version 2.0 because it added helpful new features. Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. became household names because software was hard to make, and even harder to box up and get on store shelves.| pketh.org

In most cases it’s just a much better computer than any laptop or desktop out there and in this post I’m going to prove it:| Michael.team
I always thought it was a software problem — or at least a difference of aesthetics expressed in software. But it turns out the reason many Mac owners, including yours truly, so strongly dislike how fonts typically look on Windows is actually a hardware problem! Inspired by my friend Brook’s excellent weekly newsletters, here’s an unordered list of some things I’ve come across lately. Did The weather in the Bay Area has been rough for the past few weeks, so I haven’t been out too much. Part of the joy of living in California is that you kind of give up on fighting the weather. Purchased a new 15" MacBook Pro. So far so good with the keyboard, but had problems with screen flicker. Took the MBP in for Apple Genius service and after 2 separate send-away-for-repair incidents, MBP coming back with no new parts, the local Apple Store gave up and just gave me a new MBP as replacement. Of course I still had the screen flicker with the replacement Some digging on the Internet led me to the conclusion that the problem is in Mac OSX software, in combination with the new Radeo...| renaghan.com
