Around a decade ago, I was happy to learn about bcache – a Linux block cache system that implements tiered storage (like a pool of hard disks with SSDs for cache) on Linux. At that stage, ZFS on Linux was nowhere close to where it is today, so any progress on gaining more ZFS features in general Linux systems was very welcome. Today marked the first FOSDEM day. The official tag for social networks is #fosdem. The intro was nice because the presenter took some picture from my mastodon feed of yesterday. The auditorium was full and a lot of people raised their hand when asked if it was their first Fosdem.| Pensées
In February, numerous fixes were implemented in Nemomobile. Lipstick is no longer crashing. The Maliit on-screen keyboard is now appearing. Key controls improvements have been made to the qt quick controls in Nemo. Furthermore, the NGFD settings have been fixed.
