It is a massive work on Novalis by Theodor Haering—”Novalis als Philosoph” (648 pages, one third of which is in very small font). “Novalis” is the pen name of the poet-philosopher Georg Philipp Friedrich Freiherr von Hardenberg (1772-1801).
