Around here the "Christmas Season" begins the day after Thanksgiving with the arrival of our Elf on the Shelf. Her name is Elfie and she joined our family for our daughter's very first Christmas. I immediately turned her into a feminine elf with a skirt, earrings, and a decked out hat.
