Our friends at Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK) want all disabled motorists to feel safe, confident, independent, and respected. DM...| www.euansguide.com RSS Feed
At Euan’s Guide, we believe that access barriers - like the lack of suitable toilet facilities - create disability, not people. New research from our 2024 Access Survey has revealed a troubling reality: AI may be shutting disabled people out rather than breaking down barriers. Back in October 2022, I visited Disneyland Paris for the third time in my life. I went with two of my PAs, who have now become my friends, and I stayed in the Disneyland Paris Hotel Cheyenne for four nights.Unfortunately, I do not like flying and driving was going to be too much, so I took the Eurostar from St Pancras International Station in London. However, due to living in Scotland, I had to take a train down to London, stay overnight, and then get the Eurostar the next morning. This routi...| www.euansguide.com RSS Feed

We welcome this guest blog post from Lorna Fillingham, on behalf of our friends at the disability charity, Scope. On warm summer days, I sit and listen to children racing up and down the path that leads to our local park. It's just across the road, but it's not a park for us, it has nothing that my disabled daughter can play on.
