In previous posts, I described my digital resonator model: the main principles in Digital Resonator; a few more geeky details in Digital Resonator (II).| ARJF
In my last post, I wrote: “the really exciting fun starts from something like this: a bank of oscillators tuned at a range of frequencies, that resonate in real-time with the input signal from the microphone, and possibly interact with each other.” Exciting fun might very well be around the corner, as resonator banks are part of the latest version of the Oscillators package and version 2.0 of the Oscillators app, now available for download on the Apple App Store, showcases their use for l...| ARJF
It’s been a productive week off! I published the first version of the Oscillators app, available for download on the Apple App Store, and I released a first version of the code for my resonator implementation (and more) as a Swift package.| ARJF
Over the past few months I have been exploring some ideas that started sprouting in my head over 10 years ago, to design and implement a real-time dynamic model of tonal perception, i.e. not using the ubiquitous FFT… but for now I will just share some fun results I have been able to achieve with a digital oscillator model.| ARJF
