So far, they have shot 22 days (of a planned 70 days) for season 3. They are currently shooting at night. Sam Reid said originally they talked about Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, and Jim Morrison being inspirations for Lestat the rock star, but they didn't want him emulating them…| ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com
