Halfway into Blaugust, I’m reminding myself (and you) that this challenge is about encouragement, not perfection.| Notes by JCProbably
From the old into the… old. Print has long fascinated me. Probably because I’ve spent so much of my lifetime in front of, or otherwise interacting with, a screen of some kind, there’s a level of respite to be found … Continue reading →| LunarLoony
If a skill tree falls in the woods…? There’s a trend in games lately (and by that, I mean since about 2014 or so), and that is the Skill Tree. It’s meant to represent your character learning new… er, skills… … Continue reading →| LunarLoony
Or a lack thereof! I’ve always been pretty good at getting attached to objects, and I’ve always been pretty bad at letting go in general. I remember a lot of instances where, as a child, I was asked if I … Continue reading →| LunarLoony
Crash TwinSanity. Not really an unsolved mystery as such, more a bit of a cautionary tale. TwinSanity has a lot of problems, the main one being that it barely feels like a Crash Bandicoot game, and I seem to recall not being super impressed about it at the time. Despite all this, I actually genuinely love it to bits, and the main reason is that there was probably more material on the cutting room floor than ended up on the final disc. It’s pretty tragic, because it was the first proper effo...| LunarLoony

It's easy to point a finger, and criticise anything or anyone. I try to avoid doing this as it's not big, and it's not clever. However, I don't apply that standard to AI. I am not a fan, generally.| Forking Mad+

Post no. 12 : Blaugust 2025 - Nostalgia The years fly by in the blink of an eye. We don’t really understand this until time progresses — when enough years have gone by to give weight to memories, dreams, mortality. When you see children grow, saying goodbye to who they once were, rejoicing in who they are becoming. When you realize some people in the room can no longer relate to your stories, for your reality began in ways they will never comprehend. So, you let go. The years fly by in...| Konfetti Explorations Feeds
Post no. 10 : Blaugust 2025 - Nostalgia Previous essay I count as post no. 9, even though it has nothing to do with the theme. This is a reply entry for Joel's post about novelty losing its thrill. Thursday mornings. Tortuguita keeps waking up 10 minutes before 6 a.m. With soft words and cuddles I manage to keep her in bed until 6 a.m. — I prefer 7 a.m. but that is a wish that has to wait. Post no. 11 : Blaugust 2025 - Nostalgia About forgetting my phone and staying analogue for a few hours It really felt like old times. I set the date to yesterday, because this was meant for yesterday. And it is number 11, because I posted it after the one of today haha Pardon my chaos as I figure out this writing rhythm again. “Shoes on, I’ll pack the bag.” My child ignores me, no matter how many times I say the phrase shoes on.
