Just… wow. First of all, this soundtrack has Tangerine Dream *and* Keith Jarret which is unbelievable. Second of all, the amount my body was clenched throughout this film made me appreciate a return to real life. I think if you watched this physical anguish in the same day as the mental anguish in Uncut Gems, it might put you into cardiac arrest. What fantastic cinema. I don’t know how it was possible to film this.| Josh Beckman
I don't think Adam Curtis actually wants you to watch this one, and that makes me sad. I'm sorry you're questioning your effects, Adam, but I want to see you make good films again. I remember watching Hypernormalization through a flimsy laptop screen on the carpet of my bedroom floor in my apartment and Can't Get You Out Of My Head hunched over my laptop at the kitchen table and the feeling of my brain turn the ideas over in my head. Those were good hours spent. But this one... I feel like th...| Josh Beckman

One of the topics for which I’m willing to have a fistfight to the death is that “The Hunt for Red October” is one of the best movies ever made. I’ve seen it a whole bunch of times — it’s a mainstay on basic cable and can generally be found playing at least once in […]| clontzville.com
“1984” is one of my favorite novels. I’ve easily read it six times, and I’ll surely read it several more before I pass on.
