In May, Pacific Birds accompanied partners from Molokaʻi, Hawaiʻi, on a journey to Cordova, Alaska, where vast wetlands meet the sea and millions of migratory birds stop each year en route to northern nesting areas. We are heartbroken about the tragic passing of Dr. Shiloh Schulte from Manomet Conservation Sciences. Dr. Schulte was a deeply respected conservation colleague and cherished friend who gave his life in service of understanding, protecting, and recovering shorebird populations.
