This post will briefly explore a hotly debated topic within some branches of the Reformed world right now called immutability. Immutability is the biblical doctrine that God does not change. The question, however, is what does this actually mean? We will look at this from the perspective to God's relationship to time using mathematics as an illustration. Is God's essential nature temporal or atemporal (outside of time). I will not get into the details of what all either view entails in this post
