+ tl;dr - I bought a System76 Oryx Pro to cut down on the number of computers I own. Initially the cooling system was broken but System76 support was fantastic; repaired it and sent it back post-haste. System76’s commitment to F/OSS, use of Rust and the ever-heroic work of Arch Linux contributors, along with my extensive history of making mistakes made it a relatively pain-free to install Arch with proper hardware support.
