After the Montana Supreme Court on Friday ordered Gov. Greg Gianforte and Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen to send out a poll by the end of the day Tuesday, as ordered by the courts, so lawmakers can attempt to override the governor’s veto of a popular bill last session, Senate Republican leadership is heading up a last-ditch effort to try to block the override poll from happening.
