The pay gap between CEOs and workers narrowed a little between 2022 and 2023 but is still huge, a new report shows. The slight narrowing is due both to a 9% increase in median worker pay — to $34,522 in 2023 — and a 4% drop in CEO pay — to $14.7 million.
