In 2022 Blank Books Woodstock, an independent book store in Cape Town, closed down. This is a story that we didn't get to at the time but we didn't want it to be forgotten due to its role in the South African comics scene as the store was an important hub for finding rare and older items, plus it hosted its share of fun local comics events over the roughly 10 years that it operated.
