I've discovered a bug in Safari version 18, released to the public yesterday, where migrating from Safari 17 can cause the loss of data saved by your Safari extensions. I've reported this bug to Apple, and I've been told that Apple is fixing this bug. In the meantime, I'm posting a warning. I believe that the bug affects both macOS and iOS (Safari 18 is part of iOS 18).
