German director Wim Wenders travels to Tokyo to explore the world of one of his cinematic heroes, Japanese celebrated film director Yasujirō Ozu. Sequences of Wenders’ view of Japan alternate with encounters and conversations with the crew and cast members of Ozu’s films.
