So I’m discussing Advent of Code solutions in voice chat. Somebody says “yeah but you used regex”. I say “I mean I guess I could have used parser combinators”. Somebody else hears “combinators” and asks about Factorio combinators. I then think to myself “wait you could totally do day 1 in Factorio” and that’s what I spent the next 2 hours doing.
