Pongratz has written two short stories, namely ‘Conscience’ and ‘The BEK Curse.’ Both of these stories deal with the themes of powerlessness in the face of sinister forces and oppression. The characters struggle to reclaim control and have to bear the cost of standing up to forces beyond their control.
