Interim Associate Dean of Online Education Tina Souders and Digital Pedagogy Coach Stefanie Panke were recipients of a 2025–26 CFE/Lenovo Instructional Innovation Grant from the UNC Center for Faculty Excellence. The funding will support the School’s online Master of Social Work program by using artificial intelligence to assist the process for high-quality, accessible and immersive multimedia learning materials, specifically through simulations and case studies.
