Democracy erodes worldwide when executive power expands, experts warned during the University of Notre Dame’s second annual Global Democracy Conference May 12-13 in Washington, D.C. A mix of scholars, policymakers and practitioners gathered for the convening, which was hosted by the Kellogg Institute for International Studies, part of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs.
