Research questions# The project’s aim is to generate aesthetic positions in the work with digital sound synthesis that open up speculative alternatives unreachable from standard positions. This opening is motivated by a number of fundamental artistic questions that stem from our practices as sound artists, composers and performers working with generative sound processes: What are the consequences of regarding composition as sound synthesis and sound synthesis as musical composition?
