Dad had a life-long interest in frogs, toads, newts, grass snakes and adders. He used to visit ponds as a youngster, cycling out from Newmarket, to see what he could find. He dug a pond for us as children and Tom later reciprocated, making a pond for Dad in his garden which attracted frogs, toads and newts.
