Update, June, 13, 2025: Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell sent a cease and desist letter to James Rogers, the America First Legal lawyer representing County Recorder Justin Heap, stating that Rogers did not have the authority to represent Heap in a lawsuit he filed against the county supervisors, and demanding Rogers voluntarily withdraw it.
