By Martin Dicke On Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, we laid my Uncle Bill, the Rev. Dr. Willard Burce, to rest next to his beloved wife Elinor, my dad’s sister, and his youngest son Charles. The funeral was at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, Wis. The interment was at his family’s cemetery several miles from Drammen Lutheran Church, where he was baptized.
