CHICAGO — Dexrazoxane helped adolescents and young adults with cancer who received doxorubicin chemotherapy have significantly better heart function and structure years after diagnosis, according to findings presented at ASCO Annual Meeting.The results showed cardioprotective effects of dexrazoxane could be seen more than 10 years after therapy and increased with doxorubicin dose.
