Many younger children (and older kids too) are afraid of bees. That fear probably stems from not wanting to get stung. I have found that the more the children learn about bees, the less afraid they become and then they are more invested in protecting them. It is so important to talk about the importance of bees! Without them, we wouldn’t have anything.
