Researchers at the University of Notre Dame explored the perspectives of Ethiopian breast cancer patients who, in spite of conflicting cultural emphasis on some traditional healers who discourage the pursuit of modern medicine, bravely turned to modern medicine and participated in new support groups as part of their cancer treatment.
