Inflation continues to soar globally, hitting 9% in the UK and exceeding 8% in Europe and the US. In India, wholesale inflation has remained in double digits for more than a year, reaching 15.9% last month. The IMF now expects global prices to rise 7.4%, significantly more than the 3.2% forecast in late 2020.
