Ethiopia is a landlocked country in the Horn of Africa, bordered by Eritrea to the north, Djibouti and Somalia to the east, Kenya to the south, and Sudan and South Sudan to the west. It is one of Africa’s most geographically diverse countries, featuring vast highlands, plateaus, lowlands, and the Great Rift Valley, which runs through the country from the northeast to the southwest.
