Robert Day, the settler, was assigned a lot near High St., about where Bialek Park is now, not too far from the Old North Burying Ground. His wife is said to have been Hannah Pengry, the daughter of Aaron Pengry, whose property adjoined theirs. Robert’s son John inherited the homestead, and son Thomas inherited Robert's farm, farther north on High Street, on the way to Rowley.
