The Phnom Penh Appeal Court this afternoon denied an application for the release of Koet Saray, president of the Khmer Student Intelligent League Association (KSILA). Saray was convicted of incitement to commit a felony by the Phnom Penh Capital Court in November 2024 for his advocacy on behalf of victims of a land conflict in Preah Vihear province.
