The Phnom Penh Capital Court today denied an application for the release of activists Srun Srorn, Pheung Sophea, and San Sith following their hearing yesterday. The three individuals have been charged with incitement under Articles 494 and 495 of the Criminal Code for comments made in a Facebook livestream in 2024 regarding the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area (CLV-DTA) cooperation agreement.
