Although it might be a cliché by now, I’ve always been quite fond of ukiyo-e, the Japanese art of woodblock printing1, and of course of Hokusai’s work. As for many, my earliest exposure to this type of art was Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa 2 and so it’s here for posterity.
