Hendersonville’s next big thing is the Ecusta Trail. As of July 18, 2025, the first six miles are open and ready for enjoyment by cyclists, joggers, walkers and others. Eventually, this rails-to-trail project will stretch 19.4 miles from Hendersonville to Brevard.
