It came to my attention recently that the images in my slide show are quite a few years old now. They’re mostly me doing things I love to do, so they form a history I don’t want to erase or replace. But I’m turning 70 this year. I don’t want to be one of those authors who only shares 20-year-old photos of myself because of a misguided idea that I have to look a certain way. I look the way I look.
