The phrase “Epstein client list” has become a public obsession—portrayed as the key to holding powerful people accountable. But the idea that a formal, all-encompassing list even exists is speculative at best. More importantly, the federal government doesn’t need such a list to take action. The tools for prosecution are already available. What’s missing is the will to use them.
