For seven hours on July 9, 170 residents of the carceral state became immersed in a sound stage-like environment during the Inside Knowledge journalism symposium, an event co-facilitated by Justice for Everybody (JFE) at the Yale Institute for Incarceration and Public Safety (YIIPS) and the resident-founded Carceral Studies Journalism Guild (CSJG).
