On 6 August, Georgian journalist Mzia Amaghlobeli, co-founder of the independent media outlets Batumelebi and Netgazeti, was sentenced to two years in prison following an unfair trial marked by numerous procedural irregularities. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) condemns this arbitrary decision, which reflects the authorities' authoritarian drift. The reporter must be released.
